Cooking Class – A cooking lesson

    From the garden to the table. The choice of km 0.

    Not just a cooking class. At Mamma Rita and Daniele’s home, a 5 senses experience awaits you to discover the traditions linked to our land and its flavors.

    How it takes place:

    11.00 am.  You will be welcomed by our staff who will first take you to the family vegetable garden consisting of a flourishing organically converted lemon grove and a part dedicated to the cultivation of seasonal products. Here you will learn the importance of crop rotation and biodynamic agriculture, a courageous and conscious choice to ensure always fertile soil and a production totally free of chemical fertilizers.

    We will collect the seasonal vegetables located on the different terrace levels.

    Handmade pasta or gnocchi seasoned with a simple fresh cherry tomato and freshly picked basil, fish fillet with the scent of Lemon “sfusato”, the typical lemon of our area, the yellow gold that shores up our coast. Fresh seasonal vegetables sautéed as a side dish.

    Finally, the “chiccheria”, a deconstructed puff pastry filled with lemon cream and zest, an explosion of taste and goodness.

    All accompanied by the DOC wines of the Amalfi Coast.

    Notes:

    The menu you are going to prepare will vary according to the season.

    In case of bad weather, the cooking lesson will take place in our large kitchen on the first floor.
